Various Womens Clothing by Its Times and Seasons
Clothes have been the perfect definition for womens vanity and it has been a part of their lives. In fact, whenever they go out with their friends or stroll in the mall, the first thing that they do is to hop around to find a perfect piece that would pass their taste. Anciently, women are wearing long womens dresses and skirts to cover their legs and other sacred parts of the body. In Roman, they called it stola, which was found in different colors, is matched with a palla, or also known in our time as shawl, which is made with a longer cut, during the said timeframe.
Hence, over time, they made some adjustments in womens clothing by wearing long linen garments and matching it with mantles. Their dresses were woven garments, which were individually done at home. There are no malls, stores, and marketplaces where they could buy readymade pants, shirts, and skirts. They would just wear shawls and cloaks if they have to cover their open dresses or if the weather is cold. Long dresses were outdone when the 17th century came in, where a piece of dress was divided into two, which resulted to a skirt and a bodice. It is also known as womans top, which could be identified as a blouse, shirt, polo shirt and others in our time.
